"They never sulk, they never tire;
They love the field, they love the fire;
They never criticize their friends;
Their every joy all joy transcends."

These wrinkles can be shifted
into any position you desire.

Chinese Shar-Pei

Can baggy PJs and a hippopotamus face be beautiful?  Ask any Shar-Pei fancier and they will tell you it is love at first sight and beyond!  To their one special person they are simply the most charming (though perhaps not gregarious) creature on four legs. For this pattern you can choose between two templates, one for lots of wrinkles and one for less (more conservative) wrinkles.

A special note on this pattern: This pattern, as you can imagine, takes a bit of patience.  There are more steps in creating this breed than in some of my others. The Shar-Pei pattern shows you how to craft your dog from muslin and faux suede or mole skin fabric. You will be creating an under-body with an outer-skin on which you will sculpt the charming wrinkles.

Japanese Spitz + one week old puppy

The Japanese Spitz is first and foremost a part of the family. Intelligent, always eager to please, yet each dog is an individual character. This gentle heart thrives when treated with kindness and love.

Lhasa Apso

Salvador is a Lhasa Apso. A diminutive watchdog the Lhasa does not have the heart of a pampered pooch.  They have an undying zeal for playing and cuddling but only when they are in the mood and then always in a dignified manner.

Finnish Spitz

The Finnish Spitz is a lively and talkative companion. Can a dog bark 160 times a minute? Ask a Finnish Spitz.  He'll be glad to assure you that it can be done and done with glee!

Shiba Inu

They seem to be always on the alert with their keen eyes and forward facing ears.  Though kept originally for fighting, today's Shiba is much tamer but is still possessed of an iron will.
This pattern gives instructions for all colors.

Bichon Frise

The Bichon Frise was a favorite in the royal court of Spain for centuries.  This playful breed uses it's intelligence to cook up new games to teach his human playmates. Charming and witty, this lively little dog has preserved it's spot in art and antiquity but mostly in it's human companion's heart.

Schipperke

The Schipperke is a very old breed from Belgium that earned it's keep as a guard dog on barges.  Thus, it often receives the nickname "little skipper".
